Cooperation between FAU and Brazil
I met with Dr. Luis Fernando Schettino, Secretary of the Research Units Coordination, Ministry of Science and Technology, Brazil on Tuesday, September 2, 2008.
Dr. Schettino gave a talk at FAU on that same day (see slides here) and presented a very positive picture of the research landscape scenario in Brazil. I'm confident that his talk will generate a number of collaboration initiatives between FAU and some of the leading Brazilian research institutes and I'm happy to be part of this effort.
