This column (back from January 2006) from the Chronicle of Higher Education makes for great reading and makes you wonder what goes on in the minds of some professors...
I found it thanks to a photocopy posted (a few months later) on a classroom by some professor who was mad at the instructor that teaches before him/her and does not erase the board.
And, no, it wasn't me... the note clearly said 'To the T/R professor...' and I used to teach M/W/F during that semester... :-)
Do you think this is small potatoes? Think again... The original column generated tons of discussions in two discussion threads on The Chronicle's forums...
